  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (8 biscuits)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted (for coating)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar (for coating)
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon (for coating)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the apple filling: In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add diced apples, sugar, and cinnamon; cook until softened. Mix cornstarch with water, stir into apple mixture, and cook until thickened.
  2. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Flatten each biscuit and spoon apple filling into the center. Seal tightly by pinching the edges.
  4. Dip each bomb into melted butter, then roll in cinnamon-sugar mixture.
  5. Place on baking sheet seam-side down and bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Let cool slightly before serving warm.
