  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped
  • 1/2 cup marinara sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Lightly grease a baking dish with olive oil.
  3. In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, Parmesan cheese, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, pepper, and half of the chopped basil.
  4. Cut pockets in each chicken breast and stuff generously with the ricotta mixture. Secure edges if needed.
  5. Place stuffed chicken in the baking dish and top with marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes until cooked through (internal temperature of 165°F).
  7. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving and garnish with remaining basil.
