  • 1 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup light brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cup whole pecans for topping
  • 1 pre-made 9-inch pie crust

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Melt chocolate chips and butter together in a saucepan over medium heat until smooth. Remove from heat.
  3. Stir in granulated and brown sugars until well combined.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, whisking after each addition, then mix in vanilla extract.
  5. Gently fold in flour and salt until just combined.
  6. Stir in chopped pecans.
  7. Pour mixture into prepared pie crust and smooth the top.
