  • 2 cups fresh green beans, trimmed
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken strips; season with salt and pepper. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until golden brown and fully cooked. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of vegetable oil. Toss in the green beans and stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until bright green yet crisp.
  3. Add minced garlic and ginger to the green beans; sauté for an additional minute until fragrant.
  4. Return the cooked chicken to the skillet. In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, and sesame oil; pour over the stir-fry mixture. Stir well to coat everything in the sauce and cook for another 2-3 minutes until heated through.
  5. Serve warm over rice or noodles.
