  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • Two 8-ounce packages refrigerated crescent roll dough or sheets
  • 16 ounces full-fat cream cheese, softened
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1½ teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted and slightly cooled

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Unroll one package of crescent roll dough onto the bottom of a greased baking dish, pressing it down gently to cover.
  3. In a mixing bowl, beat together softened cream cheese, sugar, egg, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Spread the cheesecake filling over the crescent dough layer and unroll the second package of dough on top.
  5. Mix cinnamon and sugar in a small bowl and sprinkle over the top layer of dough.
  6. Bake for about 28 minutes until golden brown and allow to cool before refrigerating for at least three hours.
